About

Hi, I'm from Nottinghamshire. The name EGo Photography came from my initials.

I first started taking photos in 2003 with a portable web camera. That gave me a taste for photography. At this point I just clicked away at anything and everything. Which helped teach me what worked and what didn't in terms of composition.

I got a Kodak point and shoot, 1.3 megapixel camera which at the time was fantastic but of course seems minuscule in pixel terms now. With that camera I won a local competition which just fuelled me to take more photos and develop my own style.

From there I started editing my photos more and doing digital art with them. I went to college to do a multi media course to learn more about graphic design, website design and website building. This helped me work both my interests in photography and computing together.

Since then I've gone back to my photography roots. I'm now expanding my portfolio with more shoots, ideas and getting more professional finishes and looks.

I've exhibited locally and in London, numerous international publications, won the England category of a national postcard competition and Digital Photographer magazine's, Overall Photographer of the Year.
